Hannah Brown is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying International Community Leadership. After graduating in May 2009, she hopes to work with non-profits and NGO's both in America and abroad. She became involved with KSLP after spending her Spring 2008 semester in Kenya and will be working as Co-Chairman of the Board. While in Kenya, she spent her time working part-time at a child rescue center and part-time at a micro-lending firm. She spent a summer working as the coordinator of The Haiti Project, a partnership program with a small village in Haiti of which the main goal is promotion of education in areas where it was not previously offered.
After living, working and studying in different parts of Kenya and interacting with the people and communities, she recognizes the potential for growth in educational opportunities there. Hannah is now living in Kenya.
